IT IS ONLY
BIOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE, BECAUSE IT IS NATURE
THAT DICTATES THE RULES
It
is the guiding principle in every one of our
actions: to meticulously observe the natural
cycles of the countryside
We apply the method of crop
rotation to respect the need for the land to
rest and the necessity to regenerate nutritional
substances.
We adopt the most natural methods for the
pasture lands, at the end of every production
cycle, as well as to the sheep, the geese, and
the pigs of the farmers of the neighborhood,
being compensated with animals in the place of
money.
With
prior agreement, all of our partners who acquire
one or more remote garden shares, can in turn
ask to purchase lamb meat, or cuts of pork and
goose.
The pasture land of these animals is
extremely operative for future cultivations;
there are few weed-killers or industrial manures
that are more effective than the grazing of the
sheep, the scratching about of the goose, and
the rooting of the pig. These animals being
parked on the land provides for an extraordinary
equilibrium, allowing for the extraction of
products that are out of the ordinary.
The production cycle is
essentially marked with the planting of
grain/wheat, barley, spelt, and medical herbs on
the agricultural land which, in the year
following, will be compulsorily cultivated with
vegetables.
The year following that, the land will be
planted with sunflower bushes where, as soon as
the seed is harvested, it will be buried so that
when it rots, it releases its nutritional
substances into the soil.
At the end of every harvest, the sheep graze,
and the treading and the deposit of excrement
modifies the ground and the manure.
Next, the same occurs with the entry of the
geese (they contribute to the fertilization and
remove grass and insects that are useless or
harmful to cultivation).
Lastly, comes the turn of the pigs, who complete
the fertilization and eliminate other insects or
living things that are harmful to cultivation. Thanks to natural
nutrition, the meat of these animals is
exceptional.
